Martin Glover FRICS MAPM RMaPS
Senior Partner
Martin commenced his career with a national contractor before joining the Practice. Progressing from Associate Partner to equity Partner, he was then appointed Senior Partner in 1999.
Responsible for Practice administration and development, Quality Assurance and overall Practice workload resource, Martin is also a Director of Derek Evans [Health & Safety] Ltd, a business he set up to specialise in the provision of CDM Consultant services.
Martin has been involved in major projects for housing and urban renewal, developing specialist knowledge in MMC and energy efficiency. His work also spans across the Education, Motorway Services, Corporate, Police, Commercial, Health and Defence sectors.
As cost consultant and CDM Consultant Martin controls the range of Framework Agreements with local authorities and housing associations.

Michael J Tudor MRICS MAPM
Partner
Mike commenced his professional training with a national practice of Chartered Quantity Surveyors, progressing to managerial positions in Oxford and London. He subsequently joined our Practice as an Associate Partner and then became an equity Partner in 1997.
Mike is responsible for pre and post contract services and Building Surveying services and is jointly responsible for the Practice Quality Management System, which is accredited under BS:EN ISO 9001. He is also a Director of Derek Evans [Health & Safety] Ltd.
Mike’s work with the Practice covers housing, private residential, Ministry of Defence, Police, commercial, industrial and education. He has also gained considerable specialist experience in procurement via partnering arrangements with county councils, housing associations and housing trusts.

Raymond J Brown MRICS MAPM
Partner
Ray joined our Practice after an earlier career which spanned training and qualifying at a national practice of Chartered Quantity Surveyors, a period with local and central government, followed by national and regional housing associations. With the associations, Ray held managerial positions in maintenance, development and housing management.
Ray has progressed from Associate Partner to an equity Partner and has specific responsibility for the Practice’s social housing sector work involved with pre-contract advice to clients and serving residential constructors and providers.
Ray’s career experience in housing, urban renewal, private residential and health has given him an unrivalled specialist knowledge of social housing, particularly frail elderly persons accommodation and other complex schemes, including elderly mental lll, special needs and learning difficulties facilities to the benefit of the Practice’s housing association clients.

Matthew J Burley
Associate Partner
After commencing work as a graduate trainee for an international contractor Matt progressed through the management structure and then joined a Housing Action Trust as a project manager. He joined our Practice in 2002 as a senior surveyor and was subsequently appointed an Associate Partner.
With an HND in Building Studies and a Diploma in Construction Technology and Management, Matt is responsible for post contract services and party wall services.
Matt has gained wide experience in projects for housing, residential, commercial, including supermarkets, retail warehouses, offices and healthcare. He has specialist experience in the social housing sector undertaking the larger more complex schemes for Housing Associations.

John Thomas BSc MRICS
Associate Partner
John is responsible for building surveying services within the Practice and is the firms Cheadle Cheshire office manager.
After graduating with a degree in building surveying John worked in the housing association sector on stock refurbishment. Then a period with a Liverpool based private practice before joining our Cheadle office in 1999. John has gained considerable experience in his role in building surveying services, for housing, health, local authority, post offices, commercial and industrial sectors.

Martin W Thompson BSc
Associate Partner
With a degree in quantity surveying Martin is responsible for pre contract services at the Practice.
Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Martin worked in private practice and subsequently in a multi-disciplinary practice. As an Associate Partner he has gained wide experience in housing, private residential, Ministry of Defence, health, Police, and commercial including banks, breweries, education and churches.
Martin has developed specific experience with commissions for numerous RSL’s, developing the correct procurement solution for housing and elderly frail, via Bills of Quantities, Design and Build and Partnering Contracts. These commissions have included new build, refurbishment and maintenance.

Brendan Hele
Brendan is the office manager at our Ledbury Herefordshire office.
Brendan joined the practice having spent a career working for a variety of high profile construction companies as building manager and project manager. He has gained HND building, CITB Contracts Manager, CSCS Contracts Manager Certification.
With experience in housing, health and education projects Brendan has acted in a central role on housing projects from £800k to £8m involving traditional, timber frame and modern methods of construction. He has also been contracts manager on a number of sheltered housing complexes. He joined the practice to manage a high profile, high volume Planned Maintenance Contract and to project manage other major commissions.
