The social housing project is a timber framed, five-storey apartment block containing 23 units – 10 double bed units and 13 single bed units – built on an existing brownfield site that had previously been used as a car park.

Pile foundations were put in place prior to construction of the building, which have been built using a beam and block floor and externally clad in brick, render and rockclad.

Due to the site location in central Hereford, there were a number of site constraints including access and egress.
