This striking building was designed to provide the dual function of a Public Library for Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, and office accommodation for Black Country Housing Group, and is sited in the centre of Rowley Regis.

The project was designed to maximise the benefit of solar gain and light, and as can be seen from the aerial images includes Photo Voltaic cells for micro energy generation.  As a whole, the scheme has achieved BREEAM Excellent and was completed in the Spring of 2011, and has clearly injected new life to the town centre.
