A new build library, community centre and local partnership offices that were designed to meet the needs of a diverse and changing community.  The project was intended to be a fun and exciting building that would appeal to all ages and offer a quality learning setting.  The building also has a number of key environmental aspects including rainwater harvesting, solar panels, thermal performance insulation and sensors on lighting and ventilation to reduce energy demands.  Considered a very successful contribution to the community, the project was nominated at the 2011 RICS Awards.
