A scheme of 40 one and two bedroom apartments, together with communal facilities and external works, procured under a Building Agreement.
Our role included:
- Ensuring compliance with the contract specification
- Agreeing stage payments
- Checking value for money of variations
- Assisting the ongoing dialogue between client and developer through monthly progress meetings
- Managing the snagging and handover process
The layout of the scheme dictated that all 40 units and communal facilities would be handed over together. Working well with the developer’s management team, we successfully snagged the scheme to a tight timescale on behalf of the client, helped chase down statutory approvals and compiled handover information into tenant and landlord packs. A successful handover was achieved in September 2015.
